What is Ridgeway Mindful Psychology?

Ridgeway Mindful Psychology is a non profit organisation, a Community Interest Company. This means that any surplus revenue is returned to the company to broaden the scope of its work in providing mindfulness consultancy, teaching and resources as widely as possible in Swindon, Cirencester and the surrounding area.

We have been associated with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre since 2012 having benefitted from funding from the Stephenson Endowment Fund which is managed by OMC, and for which we are most grateful.

Our teachers adhere to the guidelines set out by Mindfulness Teachers UK

RMP has an Advisory Group consisting of 10 people who have completed at least one 8-week mindfulness course, and who have relevant professional or local knowledge, to help guide us in our decisions.

RMP is interested in working with anyone struggling to meet the demands of everyday life, as well as those who simply wish to enhance their well-being.

We chose our name – Ridgeway Mindful Psychology – because it reflects the meeting of Eastern wisdom and Western science that represents Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. The Ridgeway is an ancient, well-trodden path traversing the Swindon area and beyond, the geographical area we seek to serve.
